Epoxy coal tar anti-corrosion paint (topcoat) is a two-component thick-coat heavy-duty anti-corrosion topcoat. It uses epoxy resin and coal tar asphalt as the main film-forming substances, and is made with curing agents, corrosion-resistant pigments, fillers and additives. After curing, it forms a dense and tough interpenetrating network coating. It combines the high adhesion of epoxy with the excellent water resistance of asphalt. It is suitable for harsh corrosive environments such as buried and underwater. It is the core topcoat choice for long-term anti-corrosion in underground pipelines, sewage pools, etc. Core features: long-term heavy-duty anti-corrosion and anti-penetration, thick coating construction compatible between layers, flexible construction to adapt to harsh environments limitations and avoidance The color is mostly black and has limited decorative properties. It has average weather resistance and is prone to powdering when exposed to the sun for a long time outdoors. It is recommended to be used in buried, underwater or indoor light-proof scenes. It is not resistant to strong solvents, so avoid contact with strong polar solvents such as ketones and esters. Scope of application Buried pipelines: long-term anti-corrosion on the outer walls of oil/gas/water pipelines, municipal underground pipelines, and heating pipelines. Underwater facilities: anti-corrosion coating of underwater parts of ocean platforms, ship bottoms, inner walls of sewage treatment tanks, and concrete reservoirs. Chemical infrastructure: Severe corrosion protection for chemical workshop floors, outer walls of acid and alkali storage tanks, and coal chemical plant equipment foundations. Other scenarios: waterproofing and anti-corrosion of mine underground supports, underground parking floors, and inner walls of cement pipes.
