The sulfonated polyethylene anti-corrosion topcoat (often called chlorosulfonated polyethylene anti-corrosion topcoat) is a two-component solvent-based rubber-based anti-corrosion topcoat (some are single-component self-drying type). It uses chlorosulfonated polyethylene resin as the main film-forming agent, and is made with weather-resistant pigments and fillers, vulcanizing agents, modified resins and special solvents. It is cured at room temperature without baking. The core value is elastic weather resistance, wide temperature adaptability and strong chemical anti-corrosion. It is suitable for - 40℃ to 120℃, heavy corrosive environment containing acid and alkali salts/chemical atmosphere/marine salt spray. It is used for top protection of steel/concrete substrates. It takes into account long-term anti-corrosion, weather-resistant decoration and substrate deformation adaptation. It is suitable for long-term external protection in extreme outdoor working conditions. Core features: wide-temperature elasticity, weather resistance and anti-aging, Two-component cross-linking adhesion, strong compatibility and wide compatibility, flexible construction to adapt to multiple scenarios limitations and adaptations Contains volatile solvents, construction requires strong ventilation protection; the two-component must be used up within the activation period (usually 8 hours); it is not resistant to strong polar solvents (such as ketones and esters); it has average adhesion to zinc-based substrates and does not directly apply zinc-rich coatings, and is more suitable for steel and concrete substrates. Scope of application Chemical and petrochemical industry: long-term protection and decoration of the outer walls of storage tanks, reactors, pipelines and other equipment resistant to acid, alkali and salt corrosion. Marine engineering: external protection against seawater salt spray for offshore platforms, wharf steel piles, ship superstructures, etc. Municipal infrastructure: heavy outdoor anti-corrosion and appearance maintenance of bridge steel structures, concrete piers, sewage treatment tanks, etc. Other scenarios: long-lasting anti-corrosion topcoat for extreme working conditions of metallurgical plants, gas cabinets, high-voltage transmission towers and other steel components.
